well… assertiveness does not come at all times,,,(!?) with my personal experience i ve been highly assertive when dealing with my collegues, peers, etc.(“others” in general) but i was (and still am) incredibly passive on my own life events. i m just trying to read myself and understand …., any usefull links please…,
